Tax-financed asset accumulation with a photovoltaic system (PVA)

Can you relate to this?

The Rürup pension, also known as a basic pension, is a tax-incentivised pension plan and ideal for long-term asset accumulation. The principle is enshrined in the Income Tax Act (EStG) and 100% of the contributions are tax-deductible as pension expenses, resulting in a tax refund in line with your personal income tax rate - including the solidarity surcharge.

How your contributions are invested is entirely up to you. You can choose between various guaranteed products, funds or ETFs.

Additional modules enable capital payments to your dependants from the Rürup pension - in addition to the surviving dependants' pension.

Tax benefits and flexibility

The Rürup pension offers a flexible contribution structure: the monthly contribution is freely selectable and additional payments of up to 28,728 euros for single people or 57,456 euros for married couples are tax-deductible (as of 2024). A deposit of 10,000 euros at a tax rate of 45% results in a tax refund of 4,500 euros. These savings can be used to finance a flexible contract, resulting in two lucrative investments: one to secure a high lifelong pension and dependants, the other to accumulate capital or as a supplementary pension.

Conclusion

The Rürup pension is ideal for anyone who wants to reduce their tax burden and build up a solid pension at the same time. It combines tax advantages, flexible contribution structures and long-term earnings potential. It is particularly suitable for supporting other tax-optimised investments such as subsidised real estate or photovoltaic systems (PVA).
